Most of the work in an appointment business happens between the appointments.
What happens to the call you can’t answer?
You are with a client, under a sink, or on the road. The phone rings out. Plenty of people will not leave a message. They call the next name on the list, and you never learn they were looking.
How many messages does one booking take?
They ask what is open. You answer at lunch. They reply after work. Four messages to fill one hour, and every pause is a chance for them to book somewhere else.
What does an empty hour cost you?
A no-show cannot be resold. A reminder the day before heads off many of them, but only if someone remembers to send it, every time, for every client.
Where does a client’s history live?
What they had last time, what they paid, what you promised. If the answer is your memory, a notebook or a text thread, it goes missing the day a phone breaks or someone on your team moves on.
None of this is a failing. It is what happens when one person is the front desk, the scheduler, the bookkeeper and the one doing the work.
One system, from the first booking to the paid invoice.
Each part answers one of those questions. Everything here is on both plans unless it says Premium.
A site of your own, included.
A home page, a booking page and appointment tracking, in your logo, colors, photos and words. Change anything from your dashboard and it is live when you save. Nothing to install, host or renew.
Clients choose from the hours you really work.
Day or night, from their phone. Each request waits for your approval, so nothing lands on your calendar that you did not agree to. One tap, and they are confirmed by email.
Reminders that send themselves.
An email goes out before every appointment, without anyone remembering to send it. When someone cancels, the people waiting for that day are told a time has opened.
Every client’s history in one place.
Visits, notes, files and what they have spent, under one name. Open it from the shop, the truck or the couch. It is your client list, and you can export all of it whenever you like.
A private login for each client.
They see their appointments and invoices, plus whatever you choose to share: aftercare instructions, exercises, a note, a file. Nothing has to travel as a text or an email attachment.
Paperwork that finishes itself.
Mark a job complete and your client gets a receipt. Invoices carry your saved services and prices, and print to PDF. Export everything for your bookkeeper, or have completed jobs post themselves to QuickBooks on Premium.
For one person or a whole crew.
Assign each job, give everyone their own view of the day, and decide who can see what. Every login can be protected by a second sign-in step.
The numbers, without a spreadsheet.
What came in, what each person completed, and which appointments were missed. There when you look, and ready to export.
Built around how your kind of business runs.
One system, arranged differently for each trade. When your account is opened, the wording, the services and the booking page are set up for what you do.
Salons and barbershops
Your services and prices on the booking page, a reminder before every visit, and notes on what each client had last time.
Spas, massage and skincare
Prepaid packages that count themselves down, consent forms signed before they arrive, and aftercare sent to their portal.
Fitness and coaching
A standing weekly slot for each client, session bundles, and programs or exercises shared after every session.
Home services and trades
House calls with the customer’s address, itemized estimates, and job costing with time and parts on every job.
Auto shops and detailers
Requests you can price before you accept them, itemized invoices for parts and labor, and a history of every job for each customer.
Pet groomers and trainers
A booking page that works at midnight, notes on every visit, and a waitlist for the days that fill up.
Lessons and tutoring
The same slot every week for each student, lesson bundles paid up front, and practice notes shared after each lesson.
Tattoo and piercing studios
A price agreed before the slot is confirmed, consent forms signed online, and aftercare instructions waiting in their portal.
Consultants and professional services
Consultations booked without the email chain, estimates and invoices from the same record, and every client file in one place.
Standing weekly slots, packages and bundles, online forms, estimates, job costing and inventory are Premium features. Everything else above is on both plans. Not on this list? If people book your time, it fits. Tell us what you do and we will set it up around that.
Four steps, every appointment.
-
They pick a time
On your booking page, at any hour, choosing only from the times you actually work.
-
You approve it
One tap. Add a price first if the job needs a quote. They are confirmed by email, and that time stops being offered to anyone else.
-
You do the work
The reminder has already gone out. Add your notes or a file to the job while it is fresh.
-
It is settled and filed
Mark it complete with the final price. They get a receipt, the job joins their history, and your books stay current.
“I spent close to ten years building software for banks. Then I looked at what small businesses are handed to run on.”
Stephen, founder of Anchorix
A bank cannot afford to lose a record or leave a door unlocked. I do not think a small business should have to, either. I am a software engineer and a law student, and Anchorix is built the way I was taught to build: your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, every login can carry a second sign-in step, and what your clients send you goes onto their record instead of sitting in an inbox.
It is also why nobody can sign themselves up. I open every account by hand, after a short conversation, and load your services, prices and hours before you see it. You start with a business that works, not a blank screen and a manual.
Anchorix is run from South Africa, and that is where it is hosted. When you write in, you reach the person who built it.
One flat price for the whole business.
Not per user, and not per booking. Both plans include your website, online booking and every client record.
Runs the business: clients book, you keep the records, and the paperwork takes care of itself.

Every account starts with 7 days free, and we never ask for a card. The week runs on Premium so you see everything, and it is the real system rather than a demo: what you enter is still there afterward. Nothing is charged automatically, ever. You pay by bank transfer in US dollars, for one month or for several at a time. Decide against it and do nothing. It simply stops, and you can export everything you entered.

Straight answers.
What happens when I click “Start your free week”?
You tell us your name, your business and where you are. We reply by email, ask a few questions about your services and hours, then open your account and send your login. Your booking page is already set up the first time you sign in.
There is no self-service sign-up, and that is deliberate. Every account is opened by a person, which keeps strangers out of a system that holds other businesses’ client lists.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. We never ask for one. There is no card on file at any point, so nothing can renew or bill you when the week ends.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer in US dollars, from your own bank to the account shown in your dashboard. If that account is outside the United States, your bank treats it as an international transfer, and banks usually charge a fee for those.
You can pay for several months at once instead of every month. Your account is marked paid when the transfer arrives, for as many months as you sent. It is more old-fashioned than a card on file, and it means carrying on is always your decision rather than something you have to remember to cancel.
Is there a contract?
No, and no cancellation process either, because there is nothing to cancel. You pay for the months you want. To stop, stop paying. Access ends and nobody calls with a retention offer.
Your records do not vanish the moment you stop. You can still sign in to download everything for 30 days. After that the account closes, and 30 days later the records are deleted. Download before you go quiet rather than after.
How do my clients pay me?
The way they do today: cash, your card reader, a payment app, a check. Anchorix never touches that money and takes no cut of it. When the job is done you mark it complete, it is recorded as paid, and your client gets a receipt by email.
Do my clients need an app or an account?
No app, for them or for you. They book on your site in any browser and get a private link to follow or cancel the appointment. If you share notes, files or invoices with them, they sign in to their own portal on your site to read them.
Can clients choose which person they see?
Not on the booking page, by design. Your site never lists who works for you or when each of them is free. Inside the business, every appointment can be assigned to a team member, and each person sees their own day.
What do I get for a website, and can I use my own domain?
Every business gets a site on either plan: a home page, a booking page and appointment tracking, carrying your logo, colors, photos, words and contact details. Premium adds eight looks to choose from, sections you switch on and arrange, blocks of your own, and the pages a bigger business wants. Both run on our templates, at an Anchorix address, and we keep them maintained so you never have to.
A domain of your own is not part of it. People find you through Google, your Business Profile, maps, social media and word of mouth, and they tap whatever link is there. Point those at your Anchorix site. What matters is that the page books them.
Where is my data kept, and who can see it?
On Amazon Web Services, in its Cape Town region in South Africa, encrypted in transit and at rest. Your client list belongs to you. We do not sell it, share it or use it for advertising, and nobody at Anchorix can open your clients’ records.
You can export everything you have entered whenever you like.
Can I switch between Standard and Premium?
Yes. Pay the other plan’s amount at your next payment and the plan follows the payment from then on. No forms and no penalties.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Anchorix runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Nothing to download, nothing to update, and nothing tied to one machine.
What Anchorix will not do
- It does not send text messages. Confirmations and reminders go by email.
- It does not take card payments for you. Your clients pay you directly, and Anchorix records it.
- It does not let clients pick a staff member when they book.
- It is not a marketplace. It will not send you new customers. It makes sure the ones who find you can book.
